 Tweet Old Post is a plugin designed to tweet your older posts to get more traffic.

This plugin helps you to keeps your old posts alive by tweeting about them and driving more traffic to them from twitter. It also helps you to promote your content. - Pages can now be included in tweets. Added an option to select what is to be tweeted (pages, posts, or both).
- Removed “.” and used “-” when adding additional text, “.” was causing grammatical mistakes if sentence was trimmed.
- Added option to specify number of posts that can be tweeted simultaneously. You can specify how many tweets you want at a time.

- Last but not the least, removed random time slot was causing lot of confusion.

    Hi, I just did an update of Tweet Old Post and it caused a PHP error when i was trying to add new post. When disabled I can add new posts but when enabled i cannot. You may want to take a look. otherwise thanks for a great plugin!

    This plugin is great but wished the auto update feature worked as intended. Manually updates work wonderfully. However, the auto update feature does not work on WordPress version 3.4.2.

    Is there a cron job I can set to call the plugin directly to auto update until the issue is resolved?

    It looks like this plugin is conflicting with Jetpack and causing Jetpack comments to return an “Invalid security token” error when a user tries to leave a comment.

    I hope this can be fixed– I LOVE your plugin, but Jetpack comments are worth deactivating it until there is a fix.

    Thanks for your work on this– excellent plugin (minus the whole Jetpack confilct)!!

    This plugin hasn’t worked for me for some time, but I can’t remember the version that did work… I think I’ll have to look elsewhere, which is a shame!

    A while ago you added the ability to tweet pages as well as posts. But are they also regulated by the “Maximum age of post” setting? They should not be, of course. Also, it would be helpful to be able to filter out pages you don’t want tweeted, like you can do for posts.

    Hi Ajay, I can´t install tweet old post because of a Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): Demasiados redireccionamientos. bug. Do you know how to fix this? I already tried on Chrome, IE and removing cookies and everything.

    Hi if auto tweet does not work for you, try de-authorizing and re-authorizing. If that still does not work please enable the log in settings and send me the log file. And to really help me resolve this issue of not auto tweeting it would be great if someone can give me access to their wordpress setup, I’ll use my own test account to find out the issue.

    And regarding the too many redirects, please check the faq section it has the solution to this problem.

    Did you thought of adding a feature for multi language websites? Meaning if I have 2 versions of the post (En/Fr) and I have 2 Twitter accounts each for a language, I should be able to tweet the post from the account depending on the language. What do you think?

    I found that it is no longer twitting. When I manually tried it said: No post found to tweet. Please check your settings and try again.

    What is the problem. Max age of tweets is set to 0. My posts are old but they should be tweeted.

When I clicking on “Tweet Now” after the save updates, the sistem shows the fallowing error: Tweet 1 ( Contenidos e-learning en 48 horas ) : OOPS!!! problem with your URL shortning service.     Ajay: Why cannot I not change the Maximum age of post to be eligible for tweet: setting? It seems to default to 180 days.

    When the latest version 4.0.4 is activated, it breaks the media upload button on the new Post page. I’ve disabled every plugin and confirmed its “Tweet Old Post”. The media upload button displays a message “Are you sure you want to do this?” I’m using wordpress 2.9.2.

    i have the latest version, when i go to the settings page to change any field and i press “update tweet old post options” it redirects me to my login page, and doesnt make any changes …
